Ushiku Daibutsu

Ushiku Daibutsu is a monumental statue located in Ushiku, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, completed in 1993. Standing at 120 meters tall, including its base and lotus platform, it was the tallest statue in the world until 2008 and remains the fifth-tallest as of 2023.
